We see and hear about yoga often, and may even practice it. But did you know its roots go back thousands of years? Similarly, Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old sister science to yoga, allows one to discover how living in harmony with nature
can affect your wellness and longevity. You will be given resources to identify your personal dosha so you can make the adjustments needed in food, activity, and lifestyle to stay in balance.
Kim Scott Sowinski, 500 RYT, will lead a discussion on these topics. We will gather by a cozy fire to enjoy warm tea as we learn together.
Kim Scott Sowinski is a 500 hour Registered Ayurveda Yoga Instructor. Additionally, she has 40+ years in broadcasting and fitness. She is the creator of two videos, "North Coast Energy" with Kim Scott (filmed at 5 different locations in the city of Cleveland), and NatureAsana Yoga Flow + Core, taped outdoors in the Brecksville Metropark. She also is featured in an aerobics video with the late fitness celebrity, Jack LaLanne.
